Agreement to these terms

Ascent is ML Mastery, a self-paced curriculum with a progress tracker, a handwriting notes canvas, and a personal links list. By using Ascent, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Ascent

Ascent is offered as-is for personal, non-commercial learning. You're responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide when signing in, and for keeping your account secure.

Your account

Signing in uses Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication. You're responsible for all activity under your account. You can use the app without signing in ("local mode"), in which case your data stays in your browser only and no account is created.

Your content

Anything you create in Ascent — notes, canvas drawings, saved links, and progress data — remains yours. We don't claim ownership of it and only store or display it back to you. See the Privacy Policy for details on what's collected and how it's stored.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its infrastructure.
• Don't use the app to store or transmit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
• Don't attempt to access another user's account or data.

No warranty

Ascent is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. The curriculum content is educational and provided in good faith, but we don't guarantee it is complete, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascent and its author are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data. Export your progress regularly from Settings if you want a personal backup.

Changes to the app or these terms

Ascent may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If these terms change, the "last updated" date above will change too. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You may stop using Ascent and delete your account at any time via Settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms.
